Chakan: Bloodiest Retaliation in Rase Village: Gunfire Targets Pune Recidivist Accused

Chakan: In anger over helping the perpetrators in the murder, one criminal syndicate fired two bullets on the recidivist accused in Pune. This incident took place at the Maratha Hotel in Rase village. In this regard, police have arrested two accused and have been searching for the other criminals.

The person injured in this attack has been identified as Swapnil, alias Sopya Sanjay Shinde. Shinde, a resident of Rase village, is a recidivist criminal. Four months ago, the murder of the brother of one of the accused, Rahul Pawar, took place in Khed Taluka, in which it was alleged that Pawar had co-operated with the murderers.

The accused, Rahul Pawar, a resident of Mahalunge, Taluka Khed, had harboured deep anger about it in his mind. Finding the right opportunity to settle the score, Pawar and his accomplices found Shinde helpless in the Maratha Hotel at Rase village on March 18.

When Shinde was eating in the hotel at around 10.30 p.m. on Monday night, Pawar and his accomplices went into the hotel and opened the deadliest fire attack on Shinde. In this sudden attack, Shinde received a minor injury to his head. After the short firing, the accused absconded from the spot.

After learning about the attack, police rushed to the spot and immediately arrested two accused, Rahul Pawar and Ajay Gaikwad, on the basis of primary information. The police informed that investigation teams have been dispatched to search for the other fleeing accused who escaped after the incident.
