Pune : Policenama online – The Congress Party has given a new and important responsibility to Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Solapur Assembly constituency, Praniti Shinde, the daughter of Sushilkumar Shinde and appointed her as the party spokesperson. The Maharashtra Congress Executive committee made the announcement on Twitter.
Congress state president Nana Patole appointed new party spokespersons which included Shinde. Patole gave an appointment letter to the spokesperson on Thursday.
The new list of spokespersons announced by Patole includes Bhavana Jain, Gopal Tiwari, Nizamuddin Raine, Sudhir Dhone, Charulata Tokas, Hemalatha Patil, Dilip Edatkar and Bharat Suresh Singh. Kapil Dhoke, Balaji Gade and Shamina Sheikh have been assigned as media panellists.
It was anticipated that there would be cabinet expansion before the winter session of the Assembly and Praniti Shinde would get a place in the cabinet. Now, that possibility has almost diminished.
After this development, it seems that the Congress Party has gone in an offensive mode and is trying to concentrate on strengthening the party. Praniti Shinde is the young and dynamic face of the party.
She has taken a strong stand against Bharatiya Janata Party and presented state related issues aggressively in the public domain. Shinde also took an aggressive stand against All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen.
Pune crime | 27-year-old man rapes minor girl, forces abortion
Pune : Policenama online Pune crime | The police have booked a 27-year-old man for rape and under the POCSO Act. The accused established physical relations with a minor girl without her consent and forced her to abort the foetus.
A 21-year-old girl lodged a complaint against the accused identified as Sudeep alias Raj Barai (26), a resident of Panch Pandav Society, Gokhale Nagar, at the Chatuhshrungi police station. The police filed an offence of rape and under the POCSO Act against Sudeep.
