New Delhi : There is a steady decrease in active cases of Coronavirus in the country, which is a big relief from this deadly virus. Out of the last 11 days, only 2 days have seen an increase in active cases while 9 days active cases have decreased. Active cases of corona are steadily decreasing due to the continuous increase in the recovery rate and the decrease in new cases. According to the Union Health Ministry, there has been a decrease of 7135 active cases of corona across the country during the last 24 hours and now there are 940441 active cases left in the country.
A total of 80472 new cases have come up in the country during the last 24 hours i.e. from 8 am Tuesday to 8 am Wednesday. According to the Union Health Ministry, the total number of coronavirus cases in the country has now increased to 62,25,764. But most people have been cured in this.
The number of people recovering from Corona is increasing more rapidly. During the last 24 hours, a total of 86428 people have been cured across the country and till date a total of 51,87,826 people have been completely cured across the country. Coronavirus recovery rate in the country has reached 83.32 percent.
However, continuous deaths due to corona still remain a cause for concern. According to data from the Union Health Ministry, 1179 people lost their lives due to corona in 24 hours. Coronavirus has so far caused 97,497 deaths in the country.
Continuous testing is being done across the country to identify corona patients, more than 10.86 lakh corona tests have been conducted across the country on Tuesday. The total coronavirus testing in the country has now crossed 7.41 crores.
