Corona Raises Concern in These 13 Cities of the Country, It Includes 3 Cities of Maharashtra Alone
New Delhi : Coronavirus infection cases are increasing rapidly in the country. While the total cases of infection have reached close to 1.60 lakh, more than four and a half thousand people have died so far. Concern has increased for 13 cities in the country amid growing transition. Only 70% of the total cases of coronavirus are in these cities, including Delhi, the capital of the country and the commercial capital Mumbai.
According to government statistics, cases of coronavirus infection have increased to 1,58,333 in the country, while 4,531 people have lost their lives to this deadly infection so far. There are 86,110 active cases of infection, which are being treated in various hospitals, while 67,691 people have recovered after being exposed to this deadly infection. Amid growing cases of infection in the country, concern is growing for 13 cities.
Cabinet Secretary has held a meeting with Municipal Commissioners, Dist Magistrates of 13 COVID-19 hit cities to take a review of the situation. The measures taken by the officials&staff of the municipal corporations for management of COVID-19 cases were reviewed in the meeting.

More cases of corona infection in these 13 cities
13 cities in the country which have recorded nearly 70 percent of corona infections include Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Indore, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Chennai, Thane, Chengalpattu and Thiruvallur. State-wise, three of these 13 cities (Mumbai, Pune, Thane) are from Maharashtra, with the highest number of 56,948 cases of coronavirus infection reported. Three cities in Tamil Nadu (Chennai, Chengalpattu, Thiruvallur) are also among the most reported cases of corona infection.
