New Delhi : Coronavirus cases are continuously increasing in the country. In 24 hours, 22 thousand 752 new cases of COVID-19 have been found. 482 patients have also died on Tuesday. According to the latest update from the Health Ministry, there are 2 lakh 64 thousand 944 active cases of corona in the country now. So far, 20 thousand 642 people have died due to this epidemic. At the same time, 4 lakh 56 thousand 830 people have returned home after recovering.

Maharashtra has the highest number of corona cases. On Tuesday, 5134 new cases of infection were reported in the state. According to the health department, 9250 people have died here so far. Of these, 5002 people are from Mumbai. A case came to light on Tuesday in Asia’s largest slum, Dharavi. So far, 2335 people have been infected here.
At the same time, 3616 new cases have been reported from Corona in the second most affected state Tamil Nadu. With this, the number of corona patients has increased to 1 lakh 18 thousand 595 in the state. There are 45,839 active cases in the state. Today 65 people died due to corona in Tamil Nadu, after which the number of dead has increased to 1636.
