Coronavirus India Update : 878254 Positive Cases in the Country So Far, More Than 28000 New Cases in 24 Hours

New Delhi : New cases of Coronavirus are increasing daily in the country and every day a new record of new cases is reported. During the last 24 hours, there have been 28701 new cases of Coronavirus across the country, which is the highest number of cases in a day. After so many cases in a day, now the country has crossed the 3 lakh active cases of Coronavirus. According to the Union Health Ministry, total active corona cases have increased to 301609 across the country. In all, 878254 Coronavirus cases have been reported across the country so far. That is, more than 34 percent of the total corona cases in the country are active cases.

The number of people who lost their lives due to Coronavirus is also increasing continuously, during the last 24 hours only 500 people have died due to Coronavirus across the country and till now a total of 23174 people lost their lives due to corona. The death rate of coronavirus in the country is 2.63 percent.

However, with the increase of Coronavirus infection in India, the number of people recovering from Corona is also increasing rapidly and till date a total of 553471 people have been cured across the country. During the last 24 hours, 18850 people across the country have recovered from Corona. Coronavirus recovery rate in the country has crossed 63 percent.
