New Delhi : While the cases of Coronavirus are increasing rapidly in the country, the number of people recovering from it is also increasing rapidly. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry, during the last 24 hours i.e. 8 am Wednesday to 8 am Thursday, 24879 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the country and now the total number of coronavirus cases in the country has increased to 767296. However, there are 269789 active cases and most of the people have been cured.

With new cases of coronavirus coming up, the number of people who lost their lives due to corona in the country is also increasing continuously. According to the Union Health Ministry, from Tuesday 8 am till 8 am Wednesday, 487 deaths due to coronavirus have been recorded across the country and till date the virus has killed 21129 people across the country.
However, with the increase of Coronavirus infection in India, the number of people recovering from Corona is also increasing rapidly and so far a total of 476378 people have been cured across the country. During the last 24 hours, 19547 people across the country have recovered from Corona. Corona virus recovery rate in the country remains above 61 percent.
