Mumbai: Policenama online   The Covid-19 cases started rising again from last week. State Health Minister Rajesh Tope has expressed concern over the increase. The number of active Covid-19 patients is also going up.

Hence, citizens will have to take extra care. More restrictions will have to be clamped. A decision in this regard will be taken in a couple days after discussions with Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, said Tope.

The minister was addressing a press meet. The Corona virus infection is growing in the past some days in the State. In this backdrop, Tope interacted with the media. The rate of positivity has grown rapidly in the past one week,” said Tope.

Positivity rate in Mumbai is 4 percent

The positivity rate has reached 4 percent in Mumbai. This is a concerning picture. Over 1,000 patients are found in Mumbai daily. In all, 1,300 Covid patients were found by Wednesday afternoon. The figure may swell up to 2,200 by Wednesday evening. This is a worrying matter, said Rajesh Tope.
