New Delhi : Lockdown continues due to Coronavirus at present in the country and people are being appealed to stay in their homes. In such a situation, a large number of PPE (personal protective equipment) kits used in Tarapith in West Bengal were found outside a hotel.
From where these PPE kits have been found, there is a hotel nearby which was recently converted by the administration into a Quarantine Center. It is being told that screening was done around the Tarapith temple for the investigation of infection of the virus. According to the report, the screening doctors left the PPE kit on the road.
At the same time, 65 people from different parts of the country were kept in isolation in the Quarantine Center, built in a nearby hotel. Most of them are migrant laborers. Now some people living in this hotel have complained of symptoms of coronavirus as well as restlessness.
The doctors who examined the people were sent for screening from Rampurhat Medical College and Hospital. It is being told that the PPE kit used was abandoned right next to the isolation center. Now after the symptoms of corona are found in the people living in isolation, the locals are angry and are demanding action.
Now doctors are being questioned on this matter. Sameer Kumar Sinha, one of the five doctors who performed the screening, said, “When we arrived at the scene, police officers were present there. We first sanitized the ground floor. Meanwhile, people were being screened on the first floor. Two police officers were monitoring people in different rooms. But there were no symptoms of corona among them.”
The doctor said that we did not know who is corona infected because we were searching and scanning every person in the room. Even the police officers were not aware of this, so they were also monitoring every room.
