Good News   Labor Special Trains will Now Halt at Three Station, 1700 People will Travel Instead of 1200 : Indian Railways

New Delhi : Due to Corona epidemic, the third phase of lockdown is going on in the country. About 350 labor special trains are being run by the Railways to bring back the stranded laborers. These non stop special trains are being run on the basis of the list of passengers given by them, as per the recommendation of the state government. So far, 1200 passengers seats were being allotted in these trains taking care of social distancing. But, the railway says that from now 1700 passengers will travel in these trains. Also, special labor trains will now stop at three places.

At the same time, the home secretary has instructed the secretaries of the state that if migrant laborers are seen walking, then explain them and take them to a nearby shelter. Arrange facility of food & water for them. After this, they will be brought home by labor special train or bus.

Currently, some trains are being run by the Indian Railways to take the trapped laborers back to their state, home. Which are running as per the recommendations and requirement of the state government. Now when the passenger trains are starting, it will not make any difference on these trains. These trains will continue to run according to their due date and the request of the state government.

15 Pairs of Special Trains will Run from May 12
According to the railway, 15 pairs of special trains will be run from Tuesday. These special trains will run from New Delhi to Dibrugarh, Agartala, Howrah, Patna, Bilaspur, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, Secunderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Margaon, Mumbai Central, Ahmedabad and Jammu Tawi. An effort has been made by the Railways to connect Delhi with most of the state capital or main cities.
