New Revised Guidelines For Home Isolation Issued, Instructions to State Governments by Ministry of Home Affairs

New Delhi : In view of the rapidly increasing number of Coronavirus patients in the country, the Union Home Ministry has today (Monday, May 11) directed the states to open all private clinics, nursing homes with all medical staff. The Ministry of Home Affairs has asked the State Governments to ensure that all private clinics, nursing homes, labs are opened with all medical staff. The Ministry of Home Affairs has asked the State Governments that the States / Union Territories should cooperate with the Railways in running more ‘labor’ special trains for migrant laborers. They should ensure that migrant workers do not go home by walking on roads and rail tracks, they must use special trains. The Ministry of Home Affairs country, has clarified that the state governments should ensure that there is no problem in the movement of medical professionals, paramedical staff, sanitation workers, ambulances etc.

 

The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has issued revised guidelines regarding home isolation for patients with very mild symptoms and pre-symptomatic COVID-19 patients. The Ministry of Health has allowed patients with mild corona symptoms to go on home isolation. According to the new guideline issued by the Ministry of Health, patients with fewer symptoms with certain conditions can be referred to Home Home Isolation.

The Ministry of Health has divided the corona infected patients of the country into three categories. The first is a patient with very few symptoms, who is kept in a COVID Care Center. Second, patients who have three or four symptoms of corona, are kept in COVID Health Center while the third such patients who have all the symptoms of Coronavirus infection, are kept in COVID Hospital.

The guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health on 27 April for the care of low-symptomatic Corona patients have now been changed. The new revised guideline for Corona patients states that if a corona patient with mild symptoms has isolation facilities at home, he or she can go to home isolation. Home isolation facilities have also been made clear by the Ministry of Health.

Know what is the New Revised Guideline for Home Isolation
– Any corona-infected patient can enter home isolation only if the doctor in his report allows the patient to go home.

– Second, patient should have isolation facility at home.

– A man should be at home with him for 24 hours to take care.

– Along with this, he should be connected with the hospital at all times and the information of every small and big problem about his health should be made available to the hospital.

– It is also important to have the Arogya Setu app on the patient’s mobile phone.

– The patient will also have to accept the condition that his health will be checked periodically and the district health officer will be informed about the report.

– Along with this, the Health Department team will also periodically monitor the corona patient.

Any patient who goes to home isolation will have to fill a form and follow the guidelines given by the Ministry of Health.
