Nagpur/Mumbai, Dec 7 (UNI)- Maharashtra state Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said in the winter session of the state assembly in Nagpur that there is an attempt to do justice by positively discussing the issues of Vidarbha and Marathwada region farmers and laborers.
Shinde also asserted that this government’s attempt to provide Maratha reservations will be in accordance with the law and that no injustice will be done to any group, including OBCs.
He was speaking to mediapersons Wednesday night at the Ramgiri official residence in Nagpur against the backdrop of the winter assembly session going to start on Thursday.
Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Chandrakant Dada Patil, State Excise Minister Shambhuraj Desai, School Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Sanjay Bansode, Soil and Water Conservation Minister Sanjay Rathod, Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Anil Patil, others, Backward Bahujan Welfare Minister Atul Save, Labor Minister Suresh Khade, Skill Development, Innovation Minister Mangalprabhat Lodha, MLA Praveen Darekar, Adv. Ashish Jaiswal, and others were present.
Shinde said this winter session is being held in Vidarbha. We have a close relationship with Vidarbha. The people of Vidarbha are also feeling a special joy in giving justice through this convention.
For the overall development of Vidarbha, the projects and plans decided upon will be completed in a concrete and time-bound manner. During the last one and a half years, the government has been working to reach out to every section of society, keeping the interests of the common people in mind, added Shinde.
