New Delhi : In a video message released on Friday morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that ‘My dear countrymen, it has been 9 days since the nationwide lockdown against Corona global epidemic. During this, the way you all followed discipline and service is admirable. Governance-administration and citizen have done the job of handling this situation in a good way.’
The PM said that ‘just as India thanked everyone who fought the battle of Corona on Sunday, March 22, it became an example for all countries. Today many countries are repeating this. Public curfew became an example for the world, which proved that the country can fight unitedly.’

Defeat the darkness of corona with light
PM Modi said that ‘and so, on this Sunday, April 5, we all have to meet and challenge the darkness of the crisis of Corona, to show it the power of light. On this 5 April, we have to awaken the superpower of 130 crore countrymen by turning off the house lights for 9 minutes at 9 pm, light a candle, diya or flash light on the door/balconies of the house.’ PM Modi said that on this Sunday we have to give the message that we are all one. The PM appealed and said not to violate social distancing during this period.
