PM Modi virtually flags off Jalna-Mumbai Vande Bharat express

Jalna, Dec 30 (UNI)- The first Jalna-Mumbai Vande Bharat express, passing through Marathwada region of Maharashtra was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through Video conferencing from Ayodhya Dham Junction Railway station on Saturday.

Apart from this, Modi also flagged off two Amrit Bharat trains Darbhanga-Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal and Malda Town-Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminus (Bengaluru) .

Five other new Vande Bharat trains– Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi, Amritsar-Delhi,Coimbatore-Bangalore Cantt and Mangalore-Madgaon were also flagged off simultaneously by the PM from Ayodhya Railway station.

In Jalna, Minister of state for Railways and Jalna Member of Parliament Raosaheb Patil Danve formally shown green flag in presence of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at a function in Jalna railway station. Top Railway officials of South Central Railway were present on the occasion.

Jalna-Mumbai Vande Bharat express will run on all days in the week except on Wednesday and will halt at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Manmad, Nashik Road, Kalyan, Thane and Dadar before reaching Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT).

The train will leave Jalna at 5:05 am and reach CSMT at 11:55 am, while the express will start his return journey at 01.10 PM from CSMT and will arrive in Jalna at 8:30 pm.

Due to introducing this train, people of Jalna and Chhatrapati Sambhaijnagar district as well as rest of the neighbouring districts will get benefit to reach state capital Mumbai in a short period.
