Netanyahu is accused of taking bribes and cheating
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu set a record for the longest reign in his country last year. But now the trial in Jerusalem court started in May on charges of bribing, cheating and fraud against Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Netanyahu is accused of cheating, breach of trust and bribery in many cases. He is accused of favoring media owners for favorable news coverage of such business families in exchange for accepting expensive gifts from rich friends. The most serious charge on Netanyahu is to get the owner of a major telecom company a profit of millions of dollars by influencing the editorial of a popular news website owned by a firm.

However, Netanyahu dismissed these allegations. He claimed that he had been the victim of a “coup attempt” by exaggerated police, biased prosecutors and hostile media.
