LPG Cylinder Booking Service Started Through Whatsapp, Payments Can be Made Online

New Delhi : Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) on Tuesday announced the launch of LPG booking service through WhatsApp across the country for the convenience of customers. The country’s second largest petroleum distribution company has been placed on the disinvestment list. The company has 7.10 crore LPG customers.

BPCL said in a statement that from Tuesday, customers across the country of Bharat Gas (LPG brand name of BPCL) can book cooking gas cylinders from anywhere through WhatsApp. The company said that it has launched a new WhatsApp business channel for cylinder booking.

The company has said in the statement that this booking on WhatsApp can be done on BPCL smartline number 1800224344 from the registered mobile number. BPCL Marketing Director Arun Singh while releasing this app said that this provision to make LPG booking through WhatsApp will further ease the customers. WhatsApp is now quite common among the common people. Whether young or old, everyone uses it and with this new start we will get closer to our customers.

The Executive Director of the company, LPG in-charge T. Pethambaram said that after booking through WhatsApp, the customer will get the message of booking. Along with this, he will also get a link, on which he can also pay through debit card or other payment apps like Credit Card, UPI and Amazon Pay. He said that the company is also looking at new steps like keeping an eye on LPG delivery and getting their feedback from customers. In the coming days, the company will provide more facilities along with security awareness to the customers.
