MahaTET question paper leak: Pune cyber police reveal GA Software founder Ganesan’s involvement
Pune : Policenama online MahaTET question paper leak | Investigation has aaprently revealed the involvement of GA Software founder Ganesan in the paper leaks of MahaTET, Mhada and state health department.
GA Software officials Pritish Deshmukh and Ashwinkumar have already been arrested in the scam. The Pune Cyber police have issued Ganesan a notice to attend the inquiry. However, he has not responded yet.
GA Software employees Ashwinkumar Shivkumar, Saurabh Mahesh Tripathi and Nikhil Vasant Kadam (36), a resident of Pimpri, hailing from Morgaon, Baramati, were produced before the court by Senior PI Ajay Waghmare. The police revealed the alleged involvement of GA Software founder Ganesan in the scam.
Over Rs 2.90 lakh has been reportedly seized during a search at Sukhdev Dhere’s house. Emails have been purportedly recovered from Nikhil Kadam’s cellphone, which were sent to Ashwinkumar. He had sent the list of 56 candidates to Ashwinkumar. The email mentions that each one of them had paid Rs 40,000.
Ashwinkumar allegedly changed the marks of 700 candidates with the help of GA Software employee Shekhar Mastud and uploaded their details on the TET 2018 main server. A list containing marks and role numbers of the 700 candidates was supposedly provided in a pen drive to Ashwinkumar. The device needs to be confiscated, said the police.
The court remanded Ashwinkumar and Tripathi in judicial custody while Nikhil Kadam was sent to police custody till January 4.
