Man arrested for forcing 14-year-old boy to bring money from home by threatening to abduct and kill him

Pune : Policenama onlinePune Crime News | A man threatened a 14-year-old boy saying, ‘I am a big don and has just been released from jail. I will kidnap and kill you’. He forced him to secretly bring money from the boy’s home. (Pune Crime News)

 

The Swargate Police have arrested Sagar Shravan Pawar (28) from Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, SP College. A 38-year-old resident of Salisbury Park has lodged a complaint at the Swargate Police Station. The incident happened between October 2022 and February 10, 2023.

 

According to the police, Sagar Pawar had been working as a driver for a man living next to the complainant’s home. From there he got acquainted with the 14-year-old son of the complainant. He constantly threatened the boy saying, ‘I am a big don and I have just got out of jail. If you don’t bring the money from your home secretly, I will kidnap you and kill you.’ The complainant’s son gave him Rs 45,000 from the home. At 10 pm on February 10, when the complainant’s son was playing in the parking lot, Pawar threatened him again and asked to bring Rs 25,000 from his home without telling anyone. He threatened to kill him. When the complainant came to know about this, he rushed to the police and lodged a complaint. The police have arrested Sagar Pawar and PSI Jagtap is investigating.
