Man detained from Hyderabad for threatening to blow up Google office in Pune

The Mumbai Police team detained the caller from Hyderabad. The call was made by the brother of an employee working in Pune. (Pune Crime News)

 

Google’s office is located on the 11th floor of a multi-storied commercial building in Pune’s Mundhwa area. On Sunday night, the Google office in Mumbai got a call. It said the caller had planted a bomb at Google’s office in Pune. Google immediately reported this matter to the Mumbai Police. The Mumbai Police reported this matter to the Pune Police. The Mundhwa police and bomb detection and disposal team immediately reached the office of Google.

 

They inspected the entire office, building, premises. However, nothing was found. The Mumbai Police traced the caller and found that he was from Hyderabad. The person was detained with the help of Hyderabad police.

 

He is the brother of an employee working in the Google office in Pune and he admitted that he made the call when he was drunk. The police have arrested him.
