Policenama onlineMumbai : MPCC chief Nana Patole has made serious allegations against Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar that they were snooping on him. This has caused sensation in the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi in the State. The NCP reacted to his allegation.

Patole made these allegations while addressing a meeting of Congress workers in Lonavala. “The Congress is strengthening its position in Maharashtra. The IB and the police daily brief at 9 am about me to the chief minister and the home minister. Details about my whereabouts, events and agitations in the State are given to them daily. Since I announced our party’s plan to fight elections on its own, they are feeling insecure,” said Patole in the meeting.

“We are with them in the government. However, they are holding all important posts and portfolios such as the chief ministership, the deputy chief ministership and home ministry. Therefore, they would continue to snoop on me. I started my state tour at 3 am. They knew this too,” he said.

NCP spokesperson Mahesh Tapase reacted to Patole’s statements. He said the state government is stable. There are no differences in the government. Sharad Pawar is a national leader. He can react to the prime minister and other central ministers’ statements. If a reaction was needed, it could have been sought from NCP state chief Jayant Patil.

What did Sharad Pawar said
Nana Patole had indirectly criticized the NCP saying the coalition government is being stabbed in the back. It is being destabilised. Reacting to this, Sharad Pawar said, “I would not react to a junior leader’s remarks like Nana Patole.” He was speaking to the media at his residence Govindbaug in Baramati.
