Narendra Dabholkar case | Rape charges against 7 including two lawyers of accused in Narendra Dabholkar case

Mumbai : Policenama online  – Narendra Dabholkar case | A case of rape, extortion, assault and theft has been registered against seven persons, including two lawyers of the accused in the Narendra Dabholkar case, at the Marine Drive police station following a complaint lodged by a woman lawyer. Marine Drive police are investigating the matter further.

According to a complaint lodged by a 35-year-old woman, one of the accused raped her. He threatened to make her video viral and demanded a ransom of Rs 50 lakh. The other accused stole Rs 10,000 from her.

Accordingly, on Saturday she reached Marine Drive Police Thane and lodged a complaint. Police have registered a case against her and started further investigation. Two of the lawyers, Narendra Dabholkar, are the lawyers in the case and practice in the High Court and Sessions Court. The other five are employees of his office. It also includes two women.

The incident took place in the Kondhwa Khurd area of Pune city and Kondhwa police have arrested one person in this connection. The incident took place at around midnight on Saturday (Dt. 24) in the vaikunth smashan bhumi area of Kondhwa Khurd.

Kondhwa police have arrested Shubham Rambhau Tikole (age 25, resident of Kunjirwada, Kondhwa). An FIR has been registered against Akash Unecha and his two accomplices for attempted murder. Ganesh Shahadev Ghuge (21, resident of Kondhwa) has lodged a complaint at the Kondhwa police station.
