Good news for Punekars! 77.41 percent water storage in Mutha while 76.53 percent in Bhima river basin

Pune : Policenama online – Good news for Punekars | It has been raining continuously for a week in Pune district. As a result, water storage in major dams in the district is increasing rapidly. Water storage in 14 major dams has increased by more than 90 per cent. Good news for Punekars The Khadakwasla project, which is important for Pune city and district Haveli, Daund, Baramati and Indapur, has accumulated 23.02 TMC (78.97 per cent) of water.

Khadakwasla, Kalmodi, Vadivale and Andhra dams are 100 per cent full. Veer, Kasarasai, Nira Devghar, Gunjwani, Panshet, Bhama Askhed, Pavana, Chaskaman, Varasgaon, Mulshi, Dimbhe, Yedgaon, Bhatghar, Temghar, Vadaj etc. 15 dams have accumulated more than 90% water.

35.11% water storage in Ujani dam
The Ujani dam, which is very important for some parts of Pune, Solapur, Ahmednagar and some parts of Osmanabad district, has accumulated 35.11 percent water (18.81 TMC) till 5 pm on Monday. 13 thousand 830 cusec water is coming from Bundgarden bridge and 17 thousand 185 cusec water is coming from Daund into Visarga Ujani dam.
