New Delhi, Feb 10 (UNI) – Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Rajya Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday claimed that he did not use any ‘unparliamentary’ words during his Wednesday’s speech in the Upper House, and asked why several of his ‘words’ were expunged.

Raising the matter in the Rajya Sabha for the second consecutive day, Kharge said, “We respect you (Chairman Jagdeep Dhankar). Whatever our anger is, it is against the government not on you .”

“You have expunged six points (from my speech). In these points, there is no such point which is ‘unparliamentary’,” Kharge said, amid chanting of ‘Modi, Modi’ from the treasury benches.

As Kharge started reading the first point of his speech which was expunged, Dhankar said, “Nothing will go on record.”

“He sent a communication to me. The LoP started reading what I have expunged,” the Chairman said, referring to Kharge’s letter to him over the matter.
