Pimpri : Social security cell of Pimpri Chinchwad police on Tuesday afternoon busted a sex racket, running under the guise of a spa center in Ravet. The police have rescued five women.
The police have have registered the offence under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code against the manager Akash Anil Sonawane (24), resident of Thergaon, native of Aundhi in Mohol taluka of Solapur district and Spa owner Amol Dattatraya Navale (29), resident of Chakan and arrested them.
Sub-inspector of social security squad Pradeep Singh Samadhan Sisode has lodged a complaint at the Dehuroad police station.
The social security cell received a tipoff that a sex racket was being run in Ravet. The police team raided the spa and rescued five women and arrested the two accused.
