A 29-year-old businessman has lodged a complaint. Later, the police registered an FIR against Bala Waghere, Rahul Unecha and Harish Chaudhary, a resident of Walhekarwadi.
There was a financial transaction between the complainant and Harish Chaudhary. The complainant had returned the money but Chaudhary was asking for more money.
The accused hatched a plan and kidnapped the complainant and took him to Waghere’s house. A ransom was demanded from the complainant and when he refused to give the money, he was assaulted. The complainant agreed to give money and later, approached the police.
After the businessman lodged a complaint, the police took action and arrested Waghere from his residence.
