Priyanka Gandhi’s mahapanchayat in Saharanpur today, Section-144 imposed in the district
New Delhi : Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi will address the Kisan Panchayat in Chilakana after paying obeisance at the Mata Shakumbhari Devi temple today. The preparations for this program have been completed by the Congressmen.
A large number of people are expected to visit the Kisan Panchayat in Chilkana, Saharanpur. The administration has imposed Section-144 in the district. Congress leaders are going from village to village to invite people to join the panchayat. Former MLA Imran Masood said that at 2 pm on Wednesday, General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi will arrive at the Kisan Panchayat. The stage is ready and a seating arrangement of about 15 thousand people has been made at the venue. There will be vehicle parking in Paith Bazar and Animal Market. Volunteers will be deployed to handle the arrangements during the program. No dislocation will be allowed.
Deployment of police force for security
During the Kisan Panchayat of the Congress, there will be adequate security arrangements to keep the peace system in order. SP City Vineet Bhatnagar said that six SHOs, 10 sub-inspectors, 40 constables, one platoon PAC, 10 women constables, five traffic police constables and police of police station Chilkana will also be present at the venue.
