Pune: 11 persons beat up four for complaining to State Minister Dattatray Bharne, booked

Pune: Police booked 11 people on charges of beating up four persons on Sunday, after they had complained to Dattatray Bharne, State Minister for Public Works, Forests, Soil and Water Conservation, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development. This incident took place in Vadapuri village in Indapur taluka.

 

Vikas Bhimrao Gaikwad (43) has filed a complaint in this regard. Accordingly, a case has been registered against Ranjit Devidas Chandanshive, Anand Sarjerao Chandanshive, Tushar alias Bablu Pandurang Chandanshive, Suraj Vijay Chandanshive, Anil Uttam Chandanshive, Uttam Sadashiv Chandanshive, Nitin Uttam Chandanshive, Nitin Suresh Chandanshive, Sunanda Uttam Chandanshive, Shubhangi Anil Chandanashive.

 

According to the police, the plaintiff and the accused live in Vadapuri village in Indapur taluka. The plaintiff had complained to Bharne regarding the children playing cricket on the grounds of Srinath School in front of their house. The plaintiff had mentioned that the women faced problems because of this.

 

Angered by this, the accused beat the plaintiff and other members of his family with cricket stumps, stones and bricks at around 5.30 am on Sunday. In the fight, the plaintiff’s ring and a gold chain on his wife had gone missing. Indapur police are conducting further investigation.
