Pimpri : Policenama online – A criminal, Krishna Tulshiram Raut (22), a resident of Kalakhadak, Wakad (Pune), originally from Vashi, Tal Bhum, Dist. Osmanabad was arrested for spreading terror by carrying a lethal weapon at Wakad. Policeman Atik Shaikh has registered a complaint at the Wakad Police Station in this regard.
The police, on a tip-off, took action to nab him from the dairy farm located on the stretch of the road from Bhoomkar Chowk to Dange Chowk Road, on Friday (December 24) around 5 pm.
According to the police, Raut is a criminal on police records. The police confiscated his weapon and a mobile phone from him. It was found that he had downloaded a video from the ShareChat app to the WhatsApp app, showing a pistol.
The squad comprising, Senior Police Inspector Dr Vivek Mugalikar, Police Inspector (Crime) Santosh Patil, Assistant Inspector Abhijit Jadhav, Sub-Inspector Ganesh Torgal, Policemen Bibhishan Kanherkar, Babajan Inamdar, Bapusaheb Dhumal, Vijay Gambhire, Vikram Kudal, Deepak Sable, Atish Jadhav, Baba Chavan, Atik Sheikh, Pramod Kadam, Kaunteya Kharade took part in the action.
