Pune: Policenama online – Pune Crime | Action has been taken against Sonu alias Anand Siddeshwar Dhade who had spread terror in Sahakar Nagar by forming a gang, under MCOCA. This is the 88th action and 25th action this year taken under MCOCA under the guidance of Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta. (Pune Crime)

Action under MCOCA has been taken against gang leader Sonu alias Anand Siddeshwar Dhade (22), a resident of Taljai Vasahat, Padmavati, Pune, Nagesh Satish Shinde (18), Prem Ganesh Chandne (23), Mangal Babasaheb Bhise (23) and two minors, all residents of Taljai Vasahat, Padmavati, Pune. A case of murder has been registered against the accused at the Sahakar Nagar police station and the accused have been arrested.

Anand Dhade and his aides have committed serious crimes in the limits of Sahakar Nagar, Swargate and Kondhwa police stations to establish their supremacy. The gang has committed various crimes such as attempt to murder, robbery, causing injuries, causing harm to someone’s body, harbouring sharp weapons etc. Twelve cases are registered against the gang. Preventive action was taken against the gang but there was no improvement in their behaviour.

Senior PI of Sahakar Nagar police station Savlaram Salgaonkar had prepared a proposal of slapping MCOCA charges against the gang and sent it to DCP Sagar Patil. He sent the proposal to Addl CP Rajendra Dahale. After Dahale’s approval, action against MCOCA was taken against the gang.
