Notorious criminal detained for one year at Aurangabad Harsul jail; Pune police chief acts against 59 criminals in one year

Pune : Policenama onlinePune Crime | A notorious criminal who has been spreading terror in the jurisdiction of Bibvewadi polie station has been detained for one year under the MPDA Act. Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta has taken action against 59 people under MPDA Act in the last one year. (Pune Crime)

 

The detained notorious criminal has been identified as Khushal alias Dadya Santosh Shinde (22), a resident of Rajgad Chawl, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, Upper Bibvewadi, Pune. He has been detained under MPDA Act at the Aurangabad Harsul jail for a year.

 

Khushal alias Dadya Shinde is a notorious criminal and he and his aides have committed serious offences like attempted murder, causing grievous injury by sharp weapons, possessing unlicensed weapons in the jurisdiction of Bibvewadi and Bharati Vidyapeeth police stations. Four serious offences have been registered against him in the last five years.

 

Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta examined the proposal and other documents and issued an order detaining him for one year at the Aurangabad Harsul jail. The action was taken by Senior Police Inspector of Bibvewadi police station Sunil Zaware and Senior Police Inspector Vaishali Chandgude.

 

The police commissioner has taken action of detainment against 59 people in the last one year. The police have said that such action will continue against notorious criminals. The Pune police are ready to take action against criminals. Accordingly, action is being taken under various measures like externment, detainment and slapping of charges under MCOCA.
