Pune Crime | Sacked woman employee’s son demands Rs 10 lakh from company’s owner to ‘close’ the complaint in Pune
Pune : Policenama online – Pune Crime | The owners of a company sacked a woman employee because of frequent complaints against her. Her son beat up two partners of the company in a fit of rage. He later demanded a ransom of Rs 10 lakh from the owner by telling him that he had incurred an expenditure of Rs 4 lakh. (Pune Crime)
Ramnath Narayan Khamitkar (64), a resident of Kadam Plaza, opposite Bharati Vidyapeeth, Katraj has filed a complaint at the Bharati Vidyapeeth police station. The police have filed an FIR against Sagar Mukund Ahirrao (26), a resident of Laxmi Nagar, Kondhwa. The incident had happened on May 16.
According to the police, Khamitkar owns a company Android System in Undri Pisoli, which manufactures electrical motors. A woman, Sarita Ahirrao, was working in the company.
She used to frequently quarrel with other women employees and there were many complaints against her. Hence, according to the rules, she was sacked from the firm. Later, her son Sagar Ahirrao and his friends went to the company and assaulted partner Shridhar Naidu with a sickle. They also smashed the windows of the company and had also threatened that they would not spare Ramnath Khamitkar. The Kondhwa police had arrested a dacoity case on July 10, 2021 and arrested Sagar Ahirrao and his friends.
When Khamitkar was travelling on a two-wheeler on April 5, 2022,
he was brutally assaulted with a sharp weapon on his head
near Rajas Society.
The Bharati Vidyapeeth had registered a case.
Later, on May 14, Sagar had called Khamitkar.
He told the latter that he had incurred
an expenditure of Rs 4 lakh in the Kondhwa police station.
He also said that he wanted to ‘close’ this case
and the case registered at Bharati Vidyapeeth police station.
Hence, he asked Khamitkar to give him Rs 10 lakh
and promised not to harm him.
He threatened Khamitkar that he would be killed if he did not pay up.

On June 5, Sagar again called up Khamitkar
and asked him whether he wanted to end the matter or escalate it.
Khamitkar spoke to his partner Shridhar Naidu
and he has filed a complaint at the Bharati Vidyapeeth police station.
