Pune – Pimpri | Gangster kills notorious criminal at Sangvi

Pune – Pimpri : Policenama online – A notorious criminal was shot by another gangster and his gang members at Katepuram Chowk at Sangvi on Saturday morning. The police have arrested two persons in this connection.

Yogesh Ravindra Jadhav (36), a resident of Pimple Gurav, was shot at. He was rushed to a hospital where he died during the treatment. His brother Jitesh Ravindra Jagtap (25), a resident of Pimple Saudagar, has lodged a complaint at the Sangvi Police Station in this regard.

The police arrested Ganesh Bajirao Dhamale and Akshay Kengle, both of Sangvi. The others Ganesh Hanumant Mote, Ashwin Anadrao Chavan, Abhijit Bajirao Dhamale, Prathamesh Londhe, Ganesh alias Monu Sapkal, Nikhil alias Dokya Ashok Gadute, Rajan alias Bablu Ravi Nayar, Mahesh Tukaram Mane,  and Nilesh Mulrlidhar Eyar, all residents of Sangvi, have been booked in this connection.

According to Senior PI Sunil Tonpe, an old rivalry over the dominance in the area led to the pre-meditated murder. The police launched a search operation to arrest the main accused in this case.  Police Inspector (Crime) Sunil Tambe will conduct a further probe.
