Pune police arrest a ZP teacher from Beed in health department question paper leak
Beed : Policenama online – A zilla parishad (ZP) teacher has been arrested from Beed for the question paper leak of the state health department’s recruitment exam of category C posts.
The teacher has been identified as Nagargoje. A Pune police team was searching for him for the past 15 days in Beed. He escaped once when the police team was about to nab him at school.
Finally, he was arrested from the school, said sources. His role in the question paper leak of the state health department has been confirmed by the police. In all, 35 people have been held in the question paper leaks of Mhada, TET and state health department recruitment exams.
Commissioner of Police Amitabh Gupta said there was a chain of agents in all these question paper leaks. They were close to question paper setters. They used to call candidates a day ahead of the exam and would ask them to learn the answers to the questions by heart. This was their role in the scam.
Earlier, a teacher from Titarvani of Shirur taluka of Beed identified as Uddhav Prahlad Nagargoje, was arrested for the question paper leak. ZP teacher Nagargoje, who has been held now, is learnt to be a close aide of Uddhav Nagargoje.
It is said that Nagargoje procured the category C question paper in the same way Vadzari Pattern’s Sanjay Sanap got it. Some candidates were called by Sanap to a marriage hall on Ahmednagar road. Nagargoje also called some candidates at another marriage hall on Ahmednagar road in Beed. It is also said that ZP teacher Nagargoje could also be involved in many other question paper leaks. The arrested accused, Sukhdev Dere, and Nagargoje were very close to each other.
Earlier, Vadzari Pattern’s Dr Rajendra Sanap and Sanjay Sanap were arrested on December 20 for the category D question paper leak. Among the others arrested from Beed district are Uddhav Nagargoje, Prashant Badgir, Dr Sandip Jogdand, Shyam Mhaske, Namdeo Karande. They leaked the state health department question paper with the help of various government officials and employees of some IT companies.
Citizens are demanding that a probe should be launched into illegal properties of these accused.
