Shri Guru Singh Sabha Gurudwara to be renovated

Pune: Punit Balan Group President and young entrepreneur Punit Balan has donated Rs 21 lakh to renovate the premises of the Shri Guru Singh Sabha Gurudwara, Khadki.

A function was held recently to launch the development of the gurudwara premises by Punit Balan, in the presence of Manikchand Oxyrich CMD Janhavi Dhariwal-Balan. A stone plaque installed in the memory of Punit Balan’s mother Indrani Balan was unveil by the Balans. On this occasion, Balan announced the Rs 21-lakh donation for the Shri Guru Singh Sabha Gurudwara’s renovation. The shrine on Elphinstone Road in Khadki is very old. Shri Guru Singh Sabha Gurudwara President Gairsagurbir Singh Oberoy and its Managing Committee thanked Balan for his contribution towards the gurudwara.

Speaking on the occasion, Punit Balan said, “I feel satisfied to have done my bit through this donation to renovate the holy gurudwara.”
