Pune Sahakarnagar: Fire brigade personnel rescue elderly woman locked in flat at Tulshibaugwale Colony

Pune: An elderly woman, locked inside a flat at Tulshibaugwale Colony, was rescued by fire brigade personnel. The fire brigade jawans entered the flat located on first floor by cutting the window grill with the help of a cutter. The elderly woman had slipped inside her home and could not get up to unlock the door.

Fire Brigade personnel Mahendra Sakpal, Sandeep Ghadshi and Shilesh Gore and driver Rishikesh Bibve successfully rescued the woman.

The control room of Pune Fire Brigade received a call regarding a woman trapped inside a flat. The control room informed about this call to the fire brigade station near Janata Vasahat. Police were also informed about it.

The fire brigade personnel collected information about the woman from her neighbours. They used a ladder to reach up to the window of the flat on first floor. The team members saw that the woman was lying on the floor and could not get up on her own.

The fire brigade team used a cutter to break open the window grill and entered the house. The woman told them that she was working in the house and suddenly fell down after which she could not get up on her own.
