Pune: Tragic Collision Near Navale Bridge! Speeding Dumper Rams Company Bus, 7 Injured

Pune: Today, a severe incident took place on the road leading to Katraj on the Mumbai-Bangalore highway in which a speeding dumper from Mumbai collided with the company’s bus carrying its employee. Though no fatalities were reported in the accident, the impact of the collision is so severe that at least seven people have been badly injured, and the number is expected to go up in the coming time. This incident took place on Friday, February 16, at around 7 a.m.

There is an office of VRL Travels Company on the Mumbai-Bengaluru highway near Navale Bridge. As per the police information, on Friday morning, the company’s bus was coming out of the office premises at around 7 in the morning to the main road. At that time, the speeding dumper was coming at high speed from Mumbai.

In the morning fog, the tempo driver could not see the bus and hit it severely from behind. The impact of the collision was so severe that the bus and the dumper were heavily damaged. Furthermore, it has been learned that seven people from the bus received many injuries in the accident and are being treated at a nearby hospital.

After learning about the accident, the local police immediately rushed to the location and restored traffic by removing both vehicles from the road.
