Pune : Policenama Online –The Hadapsar police station officials on Saturday arrested a 35-year-old executive of a mobile phone company for flashing woman on morning walk at a plush housing society on Magarpatta road on Friday.
The accused has been identified as Gaurishankar Mahapatra (35), who works with Vodafone.
According to police, the incident took place around 7 am at Amanora Park Town on Friday. The accused went infront of the woman and then flashed his private part and fled. However, the woman filed a complaint against the unidentified man.
A team led by Senior police inspector Sunil Tambe, in-charge of Hadapsar police station, checked 115 CCTV cameras and nabbed him based on description of the man and his vehicle.
Investigation team included API Prasad Lonare, Sanjay Chavan, and policemen Yusuf Pathan, Sadoba Bhojrao, Ganesh Dalvi, Pramod Tilekar, Pratap Gaikwad, Shashikant Nale, Akbar Shaikh, Anil Kusalkar, Amit Kamble, Shahid Shaikh, and Dnyaneshwar Chite.
