Pune : Wakad police recovers 83 stolen coolers from thieves

Pune : Policenama Online – Officials from Wakad police station under Pimpri-Chinchwad police commissionerate have nabbed three persons from Aurangabad and recovered 83 stolen coolers, a tempo, totally worth Rs 10 lakhs from their possession.

The arrested persons have been identified as Yogesh Babaji Putmali (23), Aziz Badshah Sayyed (48) and Dnyaneshwar Ramrao Palhal (23), all residents of Aurangabad district.

They were arrested based on tip-off received by policemen Vikram Kudal and Pramod Kadam.

According to police, the accused persons had stolen 90 coolers of Symphony brand, one kitchen exhaust chimney on the night of May 7 from the godown of Djivan Snehanjali Retail Ltd in Tathawade.

Police Commissioner RK Padmanbhan, DCP Vinayak Dhakne, ACP Shridhar Jadhav supervised the investigation team which included Senior Police Inspector Satish Mane, Inspector (crime) Dnyaneshwar Sable, Police Sub inspector Harish Mane, Siddhanath Babar, and policemen Bapu Dhumal, Bibshan Kanherkar, Nitin Dhorje, Javed Pathan, Vikram Jagdale, Bhairoba Yadav, Vijay Gambhire, Deepak Bhosale, Sham Baba, Nitin Gengje, Suresh Bhosale, Ramesh Gaikwad, Suraj Sutar, and Prashant Gilbile.
