However, in Nagaur, Rajasthan, a BJP activist, angry over not getting a ticket for the Panchayat Raj elections, tied a local leader to a tree with a rope. After a long debate, the leader was released. However, the video went viral on social media as the locals filmed the incident on their mobile phones.
According to the information received, the incident took place in Bhaurunda Mandal area of Nagaur in Rajasthan. Here, disgruntled BJP workers tied Mandal president Rajendra Vaishnav and his associates to a tree. He also slammed him for his decision. He told the leaders that tickets for the Panchayat Raj elections were not distributed properly. Also the videos and photos of the incident went viral on social media.
