New Delhi: After Sachin Pilot was sacked as the deputy chief minister of Rajasthan and was also removed as Congress state unit chief, he comes out with a statement that he is not joining the BJP.

The Rajasthan Congress is in turmoil over the past few days with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot blaming the BJP for attempting to destabilize the state government by poaching MLAs.

The crisis escalated after Special Operation Group (SOG) sent a notice to Pilot to record his statement in the case registered by SOG in the alleged poaching of Congress MLAs in the state.

Pilot’s removal from the posts of Rajasthan deputy chief minister and Congress state unit chief evoked mixed reactions from the grand old party leaders.

While Shashi Tharoor said that he considers Pilot to be “one of our best and brightest”, Priya Dutt said that along with the loss of Jyotiraditya Scindia, who joined BJP in Madhya Pradesh, Congress had lost “two stalwarts young leaders with great potential.”

Taking to Twitter Pilot said, “My heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all those who have come out in my support today. Ram Ram Sa.”

He is likely to issue a statement today.
