Pune: It will be a triangular fight in the Pune Lok Sabha constituency. The BJP and the Congress have already nominated their candidates, Murlidhar Mohol and Ravindra Dhangekar, respectively. Former MNS leader Vasant More, who was searching for a platform to launch his candidature, has finally got the ticket from the VBA. Dhangekar has commented on this.
Addressing the media, Dhangeker said, “I am Puneites’ candidate. They have blessed me for many years. I am seeking votes for Pune. Democracy gives equal opportunity to all. Anyone can contest from anywhere. The current political situation is such that Puneites will vote for the INDIA bloc. People will support INDIA for democracy.”

Dhangekar said, “Anyone can contest from anywhere in democracy. It is their constitutional right. The candidate who is contesting for democracy will get people’s votes. Vasant More met many leaders from many parties. He had resolved to contest the election. He should keep his cool.”
Meanwhile, Vasant More reacted after getting the nomination from the VBA. He said, “I have been telling right from the beginning that come what may, I would contest the election. I am fortunate that I got the candidature from the VBA. However, I did not get justice from the party, to which I remained loyal for the past 25 years. But Prakash Ambedkar has done justice to me. I will prove my worth.”
