MUMBAI : Policenama online – MP Sanjay Raut – MLA Rahul Kul – Bhima-Patas Sugar Factory – CBI | Shiv Sena (Thackeray group) MP Sanjay Raut had levelled serious allegations against BJP MLA and Chairman of Bhima Patas Cooperative Sugar Factory Rahul Kul about the alleged corruption in the factory which is located in Daund taluka in Pune district. Raut had also demanded that the matter should be probed by ED and CBI. But the Shinde-Fadnavis government had not taken any steps. Hence, Raut has submitted a written complaint to the CBI. Sanjay Raut has provided this information in a Tweet. The Tweet states, “ The Shinde-Fadnavis government and Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis have ignored my complaint about corruption worth crores in Bhima Patas Cooperative Sugar Factory. Hence, I am seeking a response from CBI. Let us see what happens in the future.”
In March 2023, Raut had written a letter to PMO and other places highlighting the corruption in Bhima Patas Cooperative Sugar Factory. Even after a complaint was made, BJP MLA Rahul Kul was not questioned. The state government and the investigating agencies did not take any action and Raut has complained directly to the CBI.
