Ward boy steals gold chain of deceased at prominent hospital

Pune : Policenama onlinePune Crime News | A man who had become unconscious after he felt giddy while walking on a road, died after being admitted to a hospital. A shocking incident of a ward boy stealing the gold chain worth ₹70,000 has come to light. An FIR has been registered at the Wanawadi police station. The incident took place at the casualty ward of Ruby Hall Clinic. (Pune Crime News)

 

The accused has been identified as Maruti Kisan Bhalerao (36), a resident of Wanawadi. He works as a ward boy in a hospital. Deepak Chandu Pardeshi, a resident of Hadapsar, has lodged a complaint. The complainant’s brother Akash Chandu Pardeshi was walking on a road in Jagtap Nagar in Wanawadi on March 25. He felt giddy and fell on the road. The locals immediately took him to Ruby Hall Clinic at Wanawadi. He was declared as brought dead. After he was informed, Deepak Pardeshi went to the hospital.

 

The doctors informed him about what had happened to Deepak. Akash was wearing gold chain. However, when the body was claimed by his family members, the chain was not there. Deepak Pardeshi lodged a complaint with the police after the funeral. The Wanawadi police have registered an FIR against war body Bhalerao.

 

PSI Santosh Gaikwad is probing the case. The ward boy’s act is a blot on humanity. A surprise is being expressed because the incident took place at a prominent hospital.
