Pune : Policenama online – Pune Kasba Peth Bypoll Election | Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil has asserted that it is necessary to secure victory in the Kasba Peth bypoll by a huge margin to show that the common has complete faith in the BJP-Shiv Sena government which came to power in the state eight months ago. A two-wheeler rally was organised as a part of campaign of BJP’s candidate from Kasba Peth constituency Hemant Rasane and activists of BJP, Balasahebanchi Shiv Sena, RPI (Athawale group), Shivsangram, Rayat Kranti Sanghatana, Patit Pavan Sanghatana took part in the rally.

Patil said, “We have made a lot of preparations for this bypoll because it is BJP’s strategy to do everything in a planned manner. Hence, all of us are taking part in the election campaign.” Patil said, “Kasba Peth is our stronghold. Hence, it is prestigious for us. The traditional seat has to be won by a large margin.”

Good response to road show

A road show was held as a part of campaign for BJP candidate Hemant Rasane in the presence of Chandrakant Patil. The road show received an overwhelming response and many youths took part in the event.

The BJP campaign in Kasba Peth is in full swing and meetings, foot marches and bike rallies apart from visits to the residence of many voters are being held. The road show started from opposite Savitribai Phule’s Memorial at Ganj Peth and it passed through Angarshah Takia, Dange Chowk, Palkhi Chowk, Hamal Talim, Natrang Mandap, Pimpri Chowk, Nana Peth, Nana Chavdi, Laxmi Road, Sonya Maruti Chowk, Fadke Haud, Lal Mahal, Ratan Theatre, Appa Balwant Chowk, Patrya Maruti and culminated at Kamgar ground.
