Woman, grandson killed after being hit by car
Bahraich (UP), Mar 17 (UNI) – Accident News | A woman and her grandson were killed after being hit by a car which later rammed into a tree in Visheshwarganj area of Bahraich district here in Uttar Pradesh on Friday morning, police sources said. (Accident News)
Police sources said that the incident took place near Urdhana Sarhadi village when the car coming from Gonda hit Yashoda Devi and her six-year-old grandson Ramu. “The car later rammed into a tree after hitting a cow. Yashoda Devi and the cow were killed on the spot in the incident,” they said.
Police sources said that Ramu was rushed to the district hospital where he died. “According to the eyewitnesses a Sub-Inspector along with a driver was travelling in the car, but the occupants escaped from the spot leaving the vehicle behind,” they said.
