AAP govt. not serious about Moosewala murder probe: Balkaur Singh
Noormahal, May 4 (UNI) – Balkaur Singh | Slain singer Sidhu Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh on Friday alleged that Punjab’s Aam Aadmi Party government was not serious about the investigation of his son’s murder case.
Singh was here to canvas for Congress candidate for Jalandhar Lok Sabha bypolls scheduled for May 10.
He alleged that when he had protested in front of the state assembly, he was assured that the chief minister would meet him, but nobody contacted him thereafter.
He said that his struggle to get justice for his son would continue and appealed to people not not to vote for the AAP candidate.
Moosewala was shot dead in April last year. A day before his murder, his security was curtailed. A list of the persons, whose security was curtailed, had been made public with the ruling party hailing the same as a step to end VIP culture.
