ACB files case against Chitra Wagh’s husband

Mumbai: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday filed a case against Maharashtra BJP vice president Chitra Wagh’s husband Kishore Wagh in unaccounted property case.

According to the police, 90 per cent of Kishore Wagh’s property located in various cities were unaccounted assets. Reportedly, Kishore Wagh allegedly owns undue property over Rs 1 crore.

Earlier, the Anti-Corruption Bureau had arrested three accused including the medical superintendent of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital in Parel and affiliate of Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Gajanand Bhagat (48); assistant medical record librarian of the hospital and NCP leader Chitra Wagh’s husband, Kishor Wagh, and his companion, Sandesh Kamble for accepting a bribe of Rs 4 lakh.

During raids, cops had retrieved Rs 5,87,000 and Rs 1 lakh from Bhagat’s and Wagh’s houses respectively.
