Pune : Policenama online There is a steep rise in the number of Covid-19 cases after the Christmas celebrations. Last week, since December 25, the active Coronavirus cases have increased by 510. The percentage of the patients contracted with Coronavirus has shot up from 1.98 percent to 5 percent.
Pune witnessed a rise in crowded public places where people were seen roaming without observing norms like social distancing and wearing of masks. In this backdrop, Covid-19 infections are resurfacing among people who have taken two doses of the vaccine.
The Pune Municipal Corporation health department provided details about the number of patients in the city in the past 10 days.
