She has nust joined the NCP after leaving the the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS).

She resigned from the MNS two days ago.

Pawar, in his speech, indicated that Rupali Thombare Patil would get a ticket in the Pune Municipal Corporation polls. He said, “We want aggressive and dynamic woman party workers like Rupali Patil. NCP would definitely get an advantage after her joining.”

Pawar admired her work. He said, “I remember that she was taking part in an election campaign during her pregnancy days. She delivered a child during that campaign. She handles public issues very effectively and solves them in her own style.”

Pawar assured Patil that there would be no match-fixing in the NCP. He said, “Rupali is a hard worker. There is a large section of people who trust her. Now, we have organised a small programme.
