Vice-President of state unit of Congress Mohan Joshi, NCP city unit chief Prashant Jagtap, Bhanudas Mali, Amit Meshram etc were also present. Patole has said in the memorandum that since the BJP is worried about losing the election, it is creating terror in the area. BJP’s MPs, MLAs and ministers are moving around in cars and some anti-social elements are also accompanying them. They are threatening people and trying to lure them by offering money and gifts.

Complaints have been received about distribution of money in Dattawadi, Ganj Peth and Lohia Nagar areas. The activists are being threatened under the guise of police. Those who are calling up people under the guise of police should be identified and the BJP is misusing the police. The police commissioner should ensure that the code of conduct is not violated, the memorandum states.
